 Scroll down for current announcements.

Theme for August: Restoration

Question of the Month: “What means does God used to restore your soul?”
Will you consider sharing your response with the ladies of New Life?

  • Pre-School Assistant Needed
Christ Covenant School (CCS), a discipleship ministry of New Life In Christ Church, is seeking a volunteer to serve as a pre-school assistant on Tuesday mornings from 8:30-12:30 for the 2016-2017 school year.  This is a significant way to serve NLICC’s covenant children.  The position is to assist our pre-school teacher, Ruth de los Santos, who will prepare the lessons.  OR, perhaps you are interested in learning more about CCS for your own pre-schooler. This is an excellent opportunity to serve one morning a week while you learn about the program and have your child in class with you.   CCS’s mission is to disciple covenant families who have a desire to be trained in a Biblical view of life and education and to be intimately involved in their children’s education.  To discuss the details, contact: Barbara Plating
  • College Ministry Needs
God is working through the new College Ministry house!  The ministry still needs several items to operate more effectively.  Any new or gently used items, as well as gift cards, would be greatly appreciated.  Contact: Joshua Storms or Anacari Storms
  • Ironing Board for Manse
Would you consider donating a new or gently used ironing board for the Manses?  Thank you for all the donations we’ve already received!  Contact: Phyllis Di Bella grannap50@gmail.com or Kathryne Marple | ka.marple@verizon.net
  • Supply Hand Lotions
Would you consider donating a pump bottle of lotion for the NLIC men’s & women’s washrooms?  In the past, lotions have been very useful and much appreciated.  Bottles can be dropped off at the church office.  Contact: Christine Fulcrod | 540-746-4848 | nlicc@nlicc.org
  • Church Kitchen Cleaning
A clean and organized church kitchen allows for us to continue so many ministry endeavors — care groups, receptions, luncheons, daily use by the church staff and Covenant School, etc.  This once-a-month rotation of 1-3 volunteers allows us to deep clean, maintain, and organize a heavily used church resource so it can continued to be used well.  Sign-up with a friend or get to know someone new by serving together in this way!  You can access the sign-up hereContact: Christine Fulcrod | 540-746-4848 | nlicc@nlicc.org
  • Bulletin Folding
Do you have a couple hours on a Friday afternoon you can spare?  Sign up HERE to fold bulletins after 1 pm on a Friday.  Takes about 2hrs (faster if you bring a friend!) Contact: Dayra Rumbaugh | 540-786-4848 | dayra@nlicc.org
