Calling all Recipes: A Compilation of a NLICC Cookbook
Please celebrate with us New Life’s 40 years of fellowship together by contributing to a church-wide cookbook! Please consider submitting recipes using this online form, typed hard copy, or by e-mailing Amy Auker by March 1. (Please include recipe title, subtitle, ingredients, directions, and yield.) Consider sharing your own family’s beloved recipes or recipes you know your NLICC family already adores. Order a copy of the cookbook during the month of March for an estimated cost of $8 each. Also, consider purchasing copies for your child(ren) to have when they are grown, or, even a daughter-in-law that enjoys cooking. Cookbooks will be available for pick-up at New Life in Christ’s 40th Anniversary Celebration in July.
Oldies & Goodies: Photos Needed for NLICC Cookbook
If you have any photos of the church building or church staff from the past 40 years, there is a need for photos for some pages in the cookbook that briefly outline the church’s history. Please e-mail any photos to Amy Auker.
Vacuum Needed for Modular
One of the NLICC modular’s vacuums is no longer working. If you have a working vacuum that you are able to donate for the apartment, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for considering this need.
Mini-Session Leaders Needed for “Talents to Treasure” Mini-Conference
Save the date for our “Talents to Treasure” Mini-Conference to be held on Saturday, April 25! Join us for fellowship and learning as we take delight in the talents of our sisters. Various small group sessions will be offered and online registration will begin in March. Prayerfully consider inviting a neighbor or friend to join in the fellowship. This is event is not possible without willing women to step forward and serve as mini-session leaders — if you would enjoy sharing a talent through leading a mini-session (or would like to suggest an idea), please contact Amy Auker. Thank you!
Assistance Needed for New Life’s 40th Anniversary Planning Committee
NLICC’s 40th Anniversary celebration is July 11 -12. If you are interested in serving on the planning committee, please contact Christine at email@example.com or (540) 273-6924. The first meeting was held December 14, so, it is not too late to join. Also, let the office know if you would like to give a brief testimony during a Sunday service between January and July sharing how being a part of New Life has helped you to grow spiritually.
Addresses Needed for 40th Anniversary Celebration
The church office would like to share the following information: “We would like to contact folks who used to attend New Life about our 40th Anniversary Celebration in July. If you have an mailing address, e-mail address, or contact information for someone who used to attend NLICC, please send it to firstname.lastname@example.org or give it to Christine in the church office. Thank you.”
Do you have a heart for missions? The Missions Committee is looking for new members!
The Missions Committee meets once a month on a Thursday evening at 7:00 pm. The committee is starting to plan for our 40th Annual Missions conference in March and is a bit short-handed right now. Please contact the office at email@example.com or (540) 273-6924 for more information if you are interested.
Several Afghan immigrant women are looking for work, especially in the area of housecleaning. None are believers yet, but they are at various places in their journeys toward Christ — and would benefit from more contact with Christians. Other variables are their English language abilities, skills, number of hours, and pay needed, etc. Please contact Debra Smith to learn more.

Fredericksburg Pregnancy Center (F.P.C.) News
F.P.C. is always looking for volunteers, including Board members. There are all kinds of volunteer projects including consultants, reception help, stuffing envelopes, etc. Board members are required to attend a monthly meeting and don’t need any experience as a board member, just a profession of faith in Christ and a desire to serve mothers and their babies in many areas. If you are interested or would like more information contact Eileen.
