Invitation to a Women’s Banquet

mainprivate2

The WMC will be hosting a Women’s Banquet on Friday, November 13 at Bravo! Cucina Italiana in Spotsylvania Town Centre!  We would LOVE to invite the women (18+) of New Life to join us for a relaxing night of fun, fellowship, and fabulous food.  We have online registration available here.  All we ask is that you register and provide a “banquet fee” of $15 to offset costs (meal, tax, and gratuity) for the Women’s Ministry Committee by October 4.  More details about payment are listed under “Events” in the Women’s Update.  If you would prefer, “hard copy” registration will be available in the foyer after the service on Sunday, September 27 and Sunday, October 4.  As seating is limited, reservations will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

ANOTHER ITEM TO CONSIDER: If you plan to attend, would you walk alongside the Thanksgiving Day Ministry with us as they prepare for their big day?  We hope that each woman who plans to attend our sweet time of fellowship would consider signing up and bringing just ONE item listed here.  As the WMC seeks to fulfill our mission of “fostering unity and community in the church and furthering the gospel of Christ by communicating and encouraging discipleship, fellowship, service, and leadership opportunities to and for women”,  we pray that you would join us on November 13!  If you have any questions, please contact Amy Auker (Activity Chair for WMC).

In Him,
NLICC WMC
(Eileen Roberts, Phyllis Di Bella, Julie Root, Christine Fulcrod, Sandy Cuddy, Gail Weeks, Gale Puffenberger, Sarah Schroeder, Katie Crawford, Kathryne Marple, Tamra Corbeau, and Amy Auker)

If you have a devotional you’d be willing to share, please e-mail wm@nlicc.org.

 INVOLVEMENT OPPORTUNTIES

  • Pastor Appreciation Month (October) is ALMOST here!
Please join us as we celebrate Pastor Appreciation Month in hopes to be a blessing to our leadership.  Prayerfully consider how you and/or your family could share your appreciation – from a lovely card to an invitation into your home for dinner, etc.  The WMC has created an online sign-up (anonymous this year!) for the purpose of ensuring that each of the leaders might be cared for in this way and, also, that we might not incidentally overwhelm any leader(s) in our desire to extend our appreciation.  Thank you for your thoughtfulness regarding this ministry opportunity! Contact: WMC | wm@nlicc.org
