Focus for March: Attitude and Altitude!

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me. The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.”
Psalm 138:7-8

QUESTION OF THE MONTH

What is up to me regarding my walk with Christ?

If you feel so led, please send your response to NLICC Women’s Ministry. Your response may be brief or as long as you feel led to write. We look forward to hearing from you!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

IMMEDIATE NEED: Missions Month - Helping Ukraine
Dear New Life - besides praying, many have asked how they can tangibly help Ukrainian refugees and those now suffering in Ukraine. WE NOW HAVE THAT OPPORTUNITY! God willing, I am planning to leave this Sunday evening with Tim Abbott, who is with the ministry arm of Chick-fil-A to head to Krakow, Poland to bring in some relief supplies, to connect with missionary contacts and to see what additional assistance we can provide on the ground. We will be setting up a container at New Life for supplies if anyone wants to bring in any items to give. I can receive items up until this Sunday morning. Thank you in advance for your help and prayers!   God bless, Jim

Missions Month Weekly Breakfast Sign-Up
March is missions month and we will be serving breakfast prior to Sunday school to eat and fellowship together before hearing what God is doing here in Fredericksburg and around the world. A weekly sign-up will be available to volunteer to bring breakfast items. If you have any questions, please contact Liz Rumbaugh.

Help with Seating
Can you help us? You may have noticed that the seating in the sanctuary feels a bit full. We praise God for so many people returning to worship now that the pandemic is waning, but you may have noticed that most of the seats are taken.

You can help! How?

Please sit as far forward as you can. There is plenty of space in the front seats. It makes room for more in the back. Plus, the further forward you sit, the better the sound and the easier to engage!
Please fill in those empty seats in the middle of the rows. Just squeezing together a little bit makes a big difference.
Help people find a place to sit. Our ushers are working through ways to help people find seats more easily. But, any of us can help. Do you see someone looking for a place to sit? Make a space and pull them in.

Oasis Meeting Snacks Sign-Up
Please consider signing up to bring something to share with the group. You may sign up for future dates as well. You will be reminded as we get closer to the event. Thank you for being willing to lend a hand! You may contact Stacey Hunter with any questions.

Food Pantry Update
Notice: With no distribution days for so long, we have an abundance of items right now. We are asking for everyone to temporarily hold back on donations until we can get a set time up and running again. Thanks so much.

The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank has a free app that provides up-to-date information on regional food banks. Regional Food Banks are available on every day of the week. You can find more information here: https://www.fredfood.org/pantryapp.
Food boxes are always available for members and “regular attenders” of New Life. For restocking purposes, please notify Connie or Pastor Sam of the date and number of boxes taken/provided. Needs outside the church may be communicated through Tell a Deacon, and the church office will field requests from drop-ins who show up at the office.
