“The Best Gifts Come Through a Relationship”

Merry Christmas! Consider the common tradition of the Christmas tree, and the expectation of gifts placed under it. What do you hope to find under your tree? Don’t think only of a physical tree, with tinsel and lights, and presents wrapped with ribbons and bows gathered neatly under the tree. Think about your hopes and dreams, and the things you really want in life. Think of them as unopened gifts under your tree. Because you are created to be in a relationship (“It is not good that the man should be alone…” Genesis 2:18), the greatest gift of all is found in a relationship with the Creator of all, God the Heavenly Father, through faith in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, applied by the person of the Holy Spirit.
