Spiritual growth begins with believing the truth. That is why the Bible says we must be transformed by the renewing of the mind (Romans 12:1-2). However, our beliefs are more than head knowledge. In order to believe something we must trust that it is true in everyday life.
Spiritual growth continues when our beliefs become our priorities. Spiritual growth concludes with our practice, putting our beliefs and priorities into action. With this, we see that the starting point for a life that glorifies God is the mind, as the diagram depicts. That is why Jesus tells us that the greatest commandment tells us to love the Lord our God with all our mind.
The purpose of our Kingdom Training is to explore the vital truths of the Christian faith and root them firmly in our minds. In holding to these truths, you will be equipped to walk faithfully to God and serve a lost and dying world.
More information about Kingdom Training is available in a short document available online here. Additionally, the document contains a two year plan for the church, including the courses we will be running over the coming years, and a way to track your progress.
