Fall 2017 Adult Sunday School Classes

Adult Sunday School Class(es) for Fall – A Sunday School Celebration

This year we celebrate a significant milestone in the history of Christ and His church as we remember the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. Because we think the principles of the Reformation are so important, we decided to have just one Sunday school class this fall. It is important for us to remember what happened and see how the principles that started the Reformation are still important to us today.

New classes begin this Sunday. Classes meet at 9 am and are open to all.

History of the Reformation (room 100)
Taught by Pastor Doug and the Elders of NLIC

This October 31, 2017, is the 500th anniversary of the Reformation marking the date when Martin Luther nailed the 95 theses to the Castle Church door in Wittenberg, Germany. The Reformation was first and foremost a Revival of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. During this class the elders and pastors will explain the need for Reform, the key leaders of Reform, the effects of Revival, and renewed ministries. Our reflection will focus on Reform needed in our own generation.

Covenant of Discipleship (Pastor Doug’s Office)
Taught by Pastor Sean Whitenack*

Are you interested in joining New Life in Christ Church? In this class Pastor Sean will cover the core beliefs and values of the church as you prepare to join the church. This class meets in Pastor Doug’s office.
