Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
“How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity” Psalm
Today we read the Psalms of ascent from Psalm 120 to 134 while climbing the
steps of the Temple in Jerusalem. But the last few days we have celebrated and
enjoyed the reality of unity in our Savior. On Saturday we worshiped with Yossi
and Ronit Ovadiah in Karmiel. What a joy to fellowship with them in the Messiah.
We saw the bakery where Drew Kittredge and Andrew Ewing did the tile work so
that they would be able to move into their new facility without losing
production. The bakery is doing very well and employs four people in the
congregation. Small businesses like this bakery are critical to the church’s
ability to be self-sustaining in the future.
On Sunday we met with Leon regarding the future of Haifa Theological Institute.
We are grateful for the fellowship we have together with both he and the
congregation. In the evening we celebrated the graduation of HTI. Dominic Aquila
does a wonderful job with the graduation. He preached on 1 Corinthians 1
encouraging the graduates to preach the cross even though it is foolishness to
men. They all received it well.
Today we rejoiced in hearing about the ministry of Joy and Tracy Dager to the
Arabs and to Muslims. They have such a wonderful heart for the Gospel and for
The team form Orangewood Presbyterian is especially responding to the vision that is being
cast for them. I very much desire to see churches partner with churches and
leaders in the land here. Please pray for that to become reality.
I am grateful for how you are working in unity with us in this ministry. It is
when believers dwell together in unity that there the blessing of God is upon
us. Blessed be our Saviors glorious name.
In His joy, Doug and Mary Jane
