  • Church Kitchen Cleaning Volunteers Needed
    A clean and organized church kitchen allows for us to continue so many ministry endeavors — care groups, receptions, luncheons, daily use by the church staff and Covenant School, etc.  This once-a-month rotation of 1-3 volunteers allows us to deep clean, maintain, and organize a heavily used church resource so it can continued to be used well.  Sign-up with a friend or get to know someone new by serving together in this way!  You can access the sign-up hereContact: Christine Fulcrod 540-746-4848 |

  • Bulletin Folding Volunteers
    Do you have a couple hours on a Friday afternoon you can spare?  Sign up HERE to fold bulletins after 1 pm on a Friday.  Takes about 2hrs (faster if you bring a friend!) Contact: Dayra Rumbaugh | 540-786-4848 |

  • Notes of Encouragement to Pauline Rohman –  95th Birthday!
    Pauline Rohman, a member of New Life for many years, turns 95 on May 14.  Since Dec. 2014, she has been in a nursing home.  Her 3 kids and 2 sons-in-law spend lots of time visiting and taking her on outings; however, it’s a difficult place to be.  Pauline’s family hopes to encourage her with lots of cards for her 95th birthday, especially from families at New Life that know her personally.  If you’re able, it would be wonderful for her to receive a note of encouragement, including an update on your family, and if possible, a photo or two to help her remember you.  Her family is thankful that she still has her long-term memory.  Pauline’s family expresses their gratitude to all who have been long-time friends to Pauline and her family: Nancy and Frank, Debbie and Mike, and Peter.  Contact: Katie Crawford
  • Help Needed: 7th & 8th Grade Girls’ Sunday School Class
    The 7th & 8th grade girls’ Sunday School class is in need of a helper for 2 months this summer starting June 26 – Aug. 28.  Teaching the lessons is not required (but you can if you want to!)  The girls are studying the book of Matthew then the Lord’s Prayer.  They are a GREAT group of girls and you will be blessed each week.  If interested, please contact: Krystal Dowell  |
  • Update on the Amos Family
    In the last few weeks, the Deacons have visited and prayed over the fire victims in our community, Joey & Amber Amos & their 3 children.  The Amos’ have found a new home to lease that is within their budget, and Joey is well enough to return to work.  They are truly praising the Lord for His graciousness and are thankful for their lives.  They did not have renters insurance, so they lost everything and are starting over.  They would be grateful for any furniture (although they do have couches) and appliances.  Questions/ to coordinate any offers, please contact: Rob Wilson |

  • Food Pantry {Items can be dropped off in foyer in bin marked Food Pantry}
    The food pantry needs toiletries! Would you consider adding a bottle of shampoo and/or conditioner to your weekly shopping list?  Full size or sample.  Other ongoing needs are cereal, microwave popcorn, soup, canned vegetables, canned meats (roast beef, ham, tuna, meatballs, sausage), pickles, macaroni & cheese, jelly, floss, lotion, toothpaste, and face soap.  Contact: Connie Both |
