Covenant of Discipleship
Taught by Pastor Doug Kittredge

Are you interested in joining New Life in Christ Church?  In this class Pastor Doug will cover the core convictions of the church, our structure as you prepare to make a public profession of your faith.  Begins December 4.

Theology: The Truths We Confess: Part 2
Taught by Bob Rumbaugh and Robert Williams

Know what we believe and why. Those who worship God must worship Him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24) The Bible teaches us what we are to believe concerning God, and what God requires of us.   Our goal in this class will be to understand the truths in God’s word so that by His grace we will worship Him in spirit and truth.

Bible: 2 Kings
Taught by Skip Tyler

Second Kings is a fast-paced narrative of insight into the history (852 – 586 B.C) of Israel under its monarchy. It provides the historical background for the prophet Jeremiah writings. It is a warning about the consequences of sin, especially the catastrophic repercussions of Israel’s love affair with idolatry. This is a great historical parallel for Pastor Doug’s sermon series.

Christian Practice: When Helping Hurts – How to Alleviate Poverty Without Hurting the Poor or Yourself…
Taught by Larry Root and the NLICC Deacons

We live in a world of urgent spiritual and physical need. Nearly three billion people are living on less than two dollars a day, and over a billion of them dwell in desperate poverty. They are starving in slums, sold into slavery, orphaned due to AIDS, and dying of preventable diseases. Some of them are our Christian brothers and sisters while others of them have never heard of Christ. So what are we to do? This class will also focus on the Mercy Ministries at New Life.
