December Women’s Ministry Corner

This month for our WM’s Corner, we’d like to continue sharing about the WM’s Mission Statement and how we are continually praying through and working through bringing that vision to fruition.  If you have questions, comments, or ideas about anything you read below and/or how you can become involved, please let us know!  Please note that many of the ministries listed do not come under the care of the Women’s Ministry Committee, we simply seek to support these missions of the church by sharing these opportunities with you as well as working together to meet these needs, as able.  Today we will just be focusing on the second “prong” of our mission statement, “fellowship”.

The WMC’S MISSION STATEMENT: The New Life in Christ Women’s Ministry mission is an extension of the church’s mission: building the Kingdom by training leaders.  The Women’s Ministry Committee serves under the oversight of the Session and seeks especially to serve the elders by equipping the church in providing discipleship ministries aimed at the spiritual growth of women.  Our purpose is to foster unity and community in the church and further the gospel of Christ by communicating and encouraging discipleship, fellowship, service, and leadership opportunities to and for women.

  • MISSING: Red High Chair Seat

  • Involvement Opportunity for a Care Group
The church office is looking for a care group that would be willing to set-up the sanctuary (tables, tablecloths, etc.) for the Christmas Banquet on December 12.  This task would need to be completed at the care group’s convenience between Thursday, December 10 and the morning of the banquet.  Also, if the care group would be willing to set-up drinks and the potluck food items (for presentation) for the banquet as attendees arrive at 6 pm, that would be greatly appreciated.  Please contact Jonthan Allison if your care group would be willing to serve in this way.  Contact: Jonathan Allison | 540-786-4848jvlallison@msn.com
