New Life in Christ Snow Schedule - Feb. 7, 2010

Dear New Life in Christ Family,

We will be having one worship service this Sunday (2/7/2010) at 2:30 PM. All other events, including the morning services, Sunday School, youth groups, and the evening service have been canceled. The late start should give sufficient time to plow the church parking lot and for the roads to be partially cleared.

Your elders consider it a great privilege to gather together on the Lord's Day for worship. We know that it is not always possible for everyone to be there with the large amounts of snow we have received. We miss gathering together with everyone, but are glad that many have been able to attend our snow services. If you are not able to attend, we especially encourage you to worship at home (with your family if possible) with Bible reading and prayer. We will attempt to have the podcast (audio recording) available at our web page as soon as possible (www.nlicc.org). Please take care as you dig yourself out and drive to the service tomorrow.

Job 37:5-6 declares that "God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength." Indeed in weather like this, we see the providence and power of God who rules all things with His awesome hand. We look forward to worshiping our awesome God with your tomorrow.
